Name: Kazuha Toyama

Kazuha Toyama is a fictional character in the anime and manga Case Closed (known in Japan as Detective Conan).

Toyama is the childhood friend of Harley Hartwell (Heiji Hattori). She frequently gets angry at Harley and often has arguments with him. Her relationship with Harley is much like Rachel Moore's (Ran Mori) relationship with Jimmy Kudo (Shin'ichi Kudo). Deep inside she cares deeply for him and worries about him whenever he goes out on a case. Toyama even gave Heiji a good luck charm (omamori) to carry with him to protect him. She is a close friend of Rachel and wishes to see Ran's childhood boyfriend, Jimmy. However, after Heiji had knew Conan Edogawa is Jimmy during a case, he went back to Osaka and always said about Kudo in front of Toyama. Toyama hates the girls who love Harley. Therefore, when Rachel and Conan first visited Osaka with the lead of Harley, she thought Rachel is the Kudo that Harley often talks about. Absolutely, she disliked Ran. Until one day, she and Harley travelled to Kyoto to celebrate the marriage of the son of Shizuka's (Harley's mother) friend. Rachel knows that Toyama thinks she is the girlfriend of Harley. She didn't laugh at her but advised her to love Harley bravely and she helps her with her whole heart. From that time, she becomes the very good friend of Rachel. It seems Harley discovered the most funny joke after he knew about why Toyama stays with Rachel almost any time.

In the Japanese anime, Toyama is voiced by Yuko Miyamura, who is best known for her role as Asuka Langley Soryu in Neon Genesis Evangelion.
