Name: Booker Kudo
Booker Kudo, known as Yusaku Kudo in Japan, is a fictional character from Case Closed (Detective Conan).
He is a famous mystery novelist married to Vivian Kudo (Yukiko Kudo) with whom he had Jimmy Kudo (Shin'ichi Kudo).
He is known around the world as being the writer of a mystery novel series whose protagonist is the Night Baron (called Knight Baron in Case Closed). 20 years ago he helped Inspector Meguire (Juzo Megure) to solve difficult cases much like his son did in the beginning of Case Closed. However he never saw himself as anything else but a writer. Because of his fame he and Vivian moved to Los Angeles leaving their then 14 year old son behind.
In episode 44, the Kudo couple appeared. In the episode, they became worried that Jimmy didn't show up. They ask Dr. Agasa about the problem, who told them that their son has shrunk into a kid. In an attempt to lure Conan to them, Booker disguises as Knight Baron and Vivian disguises as Fanny Edogawa. When reaching to the knight's room, Booker shoot Conan with a dart, and reveals to Conan that it was him, Vivian, and Agasa who made up a case.
In episode 96, Booker appears once again, attempting to sharpen again Conan's skills. In the end, the mysterious man Conan saw at the night is revealed to be him, wanting to check the envelopes. He also came to take Vivian back home since they weren't in good terms in those moments, and managed to get her forgiveness.
